Why this platform exists

I work in commercial HVAC, where every service call is a lesson in how mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control systems interact. The field has taught me to look beyond a failed part and ask a larger question: what is the complete system doing, and why?

The HVAC Engineer is where I will document that learning process. It is not a claim to know everything. It is a commitment to keep studying, measuring, testing, and improving.

Where this is headed

My long-term goal is to move deeper into the design and construction of reliable systems. I am pursuing electrical and mechanical engineering so I can connect field experience with load calculations, controls, power, CAD, coordination, and complete system design.

This blog will grow with that journey. Some posts will capture practical lessons from the field. Others will work through engineering concepts step by step. The standard will be simple: be honest about what I know, clear about what I am learning, and willing to improve when better information becomes available.
